Come because you can meet Sean, the player of Tyrun
It was VegasCon 2008. A bunch of us decided it would be fun to ride up and down the strip on the Deuce. We paid our five dollars for the 24-hour passed and embarked on what would later become known as the Epic Bus Rides of 2008.
It was on one of these bus rides that Sean introduced us to the term "Tribadism". He used it in a sentence the way some would use the word "bicycling" or "jogging". It was very casual, as if we were all expected to know what it meant. Of course we didn't, so he was behooved to explain further.
"Scissoring," he said, "or as I like to call it, Clam Jousting."
I will fully admit that this is the night I decided I'd try and see how many time I could get away with using this phrase or something closely related to it in game without receiving either a caution or a warning for vulgarity or masked vulgarity. I drove Kyodan to the point of a major freak out because I kept calling him a "bleeding clam" one night. Clam jousting was to VegasCon 2008 what "I'm on a boat" was to VegasCon 2009Epic.
Of course, this was also the night we began playing the penis game, otherwise known as "Cocks". We cannot reveal the rules or the method of gameplay for "Cocks" unless you are in Vegas with us. It's an unspoken rule. But back to Sean.
Now, I'm not sure if you have ever had the pleasure of roleplaying with Sean/Tyrun in game, but if you have, you must know that the character and the player do not stray far from each other. They both have some kind of bonus to charisma that is out of this world. I am not allowed to discuss how this particular picture came to be, nor the alleged things that came after it, but suffice it to say, if I were allowed to disobey the "what happens in vegas stays in vegas" rule, there would be a lot more pictures of our favorite Elven Cleric posed with beautiful women all over Las Vegas, because if there is one thing this dude did, it was pull chicks from every direction. He wasn't even trying. It just happened. He has a way with words. My man is a cunning linguist. We were all mesmerized by his charm, men and women alike. You become easily persuaded when he speaks; most of us were willing to do whatever he suggested.
This man had a woman and her 16 year-old son following us from bus to bus playing the hooker trading card pokemon game. Who was on the bus when he said in the most angelic tone, complete with the proper use of please, ma'am and thank you, "Ma'am, would you please pass this card to that gentleman right there? Thank you."
The woman actually smiled and didn't bat an eye as she passed the card with the half naked hooker on it to another member or our group seated about two rows ahead of us. This is the same dude who had a grown man read to stick his nose on the floor of the bus and sniff the vomit left behind by some unluck SOB who happened to be sick or drunk on the Deuce.
Sean was every man's wingman that weekend. If you wanted to meet hot chicks, you needed to hang out with Sean. His personality is only outshone by his bright smile. Everyone was drawn to it. It was mutually agreed that year; Sean won VegasCon 2008.
And I heard today that he's already bought his plane ticket for VegasCon 2010. So what are you waiting for? Get down with the Sean groupie club, because it's the right thing to do. And if this award winning review of his VegasCon 2008 performance doesn't win you over, I submit his performance at Simucon 2009 in the form of a YouTube video he has probably long forgotten about. I love you, Sean. You the man.
